what I've seen is that there are so many websites who are giving writers the chance to publish their writing on the internet and I'd like to hear from them as to what drives them to do this, what their experiences are with running their websites, which writers they discover and why they're even bothering to do it.

Hi Maryanne, I have set up the website Short Stories For Women http://shortstoriesforwomen.wordpress.com/ to provide a one-stop-shop for reading and submitting short women's fiction.
ReplyDeleteI was inspired to do this after having trouble finding sites that are asy to submit to and are dedicated just to short fiction for women. As an aspiring author working on my first novel, short stories are a great way to practice the craft of writing, as well as get your name out there.
My aim is to help published and aspiring authors get more exposure, while providing a good quality site for readers to sit back and relax with a good short story.
